  • Hi?@brandotheman,

Thanks for writing to us about Facebook for WooCommerce! I’m sorry to hear that the plugin isn’t working as expected. I am happy to help with this. ??

We’ve released several updates recently, so to confirm, are you using version 2.1.3 of the plugin? If not, please do ensure that you’ve updated to v2.1.3.

Then, would you please reset the sync settings by doing the following steps?

    1. Go to WooCommerce > Facebook > Product Sync
    2. Uncheck the Enable Product Sync box and save settings
    3. Reload the page
    4. Re-check the Enable Product Sync box the box and save settings
    5. Then, reload the page again, and you can trigger a manual sync by clicking the Sync Products button. Note that this manual sync will trigger a sync for all products and can take some time.

Sometimes we’ve found that this reset causes the products to start syncing correctly.

Could you please let me know how it goes and if the products start to sync or not?

    Cheers!

They don’t sync. I did this multiple times.

Well i downgraded to the old plugin to see if that fixed anything and i’ve reupgraded, the problem is i changed catalogs and pixel because facebook wouldn’t approve, why are none of my items syncing. I feel like the products are keeping the facebook meta data and the plugin is trying to sync with a catalog/product that doesn’t exist anymore… can you check in the api or the reference of the item number if you email me.

    Hi @brandotheman,

Sorry to hear that doing the reset and downgrading/upgrading the plugin hasn’t resolved the issue.

You might be onto something there with the Facebook metadata. Could you please try opening up the Edit Product screen for one of the affected products, and in the Facebook box over on the right side, click Reset Facebook Metadata?

Then, would you please let me know whether or not this causes that product to sync correctly?

    Cheers,
    Benjamin

Just redid for one product and waited. Still isn’t syncing.

    Hi @brandotheman,

Facebook recently updated their settings to toggle “Manage your business” permission to Off by default, and it might be off for your account. This needs to be set to On. Can you please go to your Facebook settings and select Business Integrations > WooCommerce Extension V2 and toggle the Manage your business setting to the On position?

Would you please give this a try and let me know if it resolves the issue?

    Cheers,
    Benjamin

It is on, it’s greyed out normally. I make sure to toggle this everytime i uninstall and reinstall… and configure.

    Hi @brandotheman,

I hope you had a great weekend! I’m sorry to hear that the sync still isn’t working.

Are you finding that none of your products are syncing? Or are only some affected, such as in a particular category?

Also, could you please provide me with a screenshot of the page found when you go into your Business Manager settings and click Users > System Users > Partner Created System User?

    Cheers,
    Benjamin

    Hi @brandotheman,

It has been a while since we heard from you, so I’m going to mark this topic as resolved. If you’re still experiencing issues please take a look at our documentation for more information and create a new thread if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
    Benjamin
