Since the latest update homepage takes very long to load

    Since I updated the theme to the latest version, the homepage takes a VERY long time to load.

    In just shows the loading graphics (the swirling orange circle) and the homepage itself takes ages to appear.

    Prior to the last update, it would have been 4-5 seconds at most.

    The situation appears to be better with desktop browsing but I still noticed a significant increase in the pages load times.

    On mobile I tested the site with CM Browser as well as the stock Android browser on both phones and tablets and the problem persists.

    Again, this has only started with the last update to the theme. Everything was perfect prior to that.
