Hi, Since the latest update the slider I had setup will no longer show on my home page. I have tried deleting the module it was installed in, deactivating the plugin, uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, making a new slider but nothing works please advise.

    Ok, couple things to try:
    1) Make sure you have the latest version of SA (version 2.0.2)
    2) You need to re-edit and re-save the sliders you have created, so just open the sliders you have created and then click the UPDATE button

Latest version is running. Have clicked the update button a few times but still getting no slider showing on the home page.

    It was working fine.

Please give me the link so I can have a look.

    What theme are you using?

Here is the link https://testsite.gobsmackcomics.co.uk You can see the woo categories slider. The Slide anything slider used to be directly below and was going to be positioned lower on the page with some images between.

I am using Divi from Elegant Themes. Like I said it was working with no issues.

I use DIVI too quite a bit, and have actually tested Slide Anything on DIVI.

Looking at the link you gave me, this is what I’m seeing – see screenshot:

I am seeing the Slide Anything slider? It is the slider with ‘Marvel”, ‘The Walking Dead’, ‘Star Wars’ etc? Maybe try refreshing your browser by pressing CTRL+F5 keys together?

Having tested the site again. It appears to be working if I use Firefox but not on Safari. I have cleared the cache on Safari but it still doesn’t seem to be coming up.

Safari can be a bugger when it comes to clearing cache. My boss has a Mac and she says you must press CMD + R to clear cache?

I have just tried that but still no go. Although I’m pretty sure CMD + R is refresh the page.

I’ve even brought up the develop tab in Safari and used that to clear all the cache’s for all website data and still nothing doing. I think it must be a problem with compatibility.

Now I’ve gone back onto Firefox and the slider has disappeared from there too. Can you check to see if it’s still visible from your end?

    (@simonpedge)

Yes – it is visible on both Chrome and Firefox my end.

And works on MS Edge browser.

Crap, what the hell is going on at this end then? Hmm I’ll try some more investigations and let you know if I find anything.

It is showing up on my phone too, so I guess there is an issue on just my Mac!! Weird. I have the latest MacBook Pro.

    Try Chrome for Mac maybe?

Totally weird. I just added another Module into the page and now everything seems to be up and working. So I have no idea what was causing it or how it has now fixed itself. Sorry for wasting your time.
