since update – total stock not being shown on product page

There is a new option provided in the same dropdown on settings page, kindly check and try updating the settings page once again with it.

Not solved for me on latest version and no dropdown for locations to select at all on any page, product page, cart page, checkout page, etc. I’ve activated and deactivated all the options under setting and nothing changes, this use to work properly you’ve done something different in these new versions please fix them.

@djsieff be patient my friend. There is a change on settings page, you can turn ON/OFF the dropdown with locations and without locations. Make sure that is checked? In case not, please use the urgent help option under help tab or record a video of your problem so I can reproduce and troubleshoot it.

Are you talking about the selection that says “Stock management on product page” with 3 options in it “1. without locations dropdown”, “2, with locations dropdown” and “3.No”. I selected 2 and it doesn’t work but this is only relevant to product page, it does not work also on cart page and checkout page etc.

I can record a video but all you are going to see is the location dropdown choices are not there. which is the same as I’m explaining what do you need to see in the video to help?

i guess @djsieff is missing the option to show the total ammount in stock – i can’t see that as well. The dropdrown shows stock does work here

@susnl it can be a trouble for the plugin users if I ask them to provide a screenshot or a video but as a developer I cannot reproduce the same issue with just a little problem description. I am continuously maintaining this plugin but it is not easy to see the same issue on my end which all of you report according to your real-time scenario.

When i take a look on my website; it doesn’t show the total ammount of stock:

It does show the dropdown-box, which includes the stock per location. A few versions before the total ammount was also shown

@susnl total amount was appearing in earlier versions but when we are dealing with the variable products so we only rely on variations not summation of variation stock location quantity. It was creating problem regarding in stock and out stock message. In recent version this change was released. In your example product URL, one location has zero stock and the other has 88 qty. where do you want it to be displayed? Guide me and also use the urgent help option under the help tab so I can check the per-released build with you regarding this issue.
