    Hi there,

Firstly I’d like to thank you for a great plugin, its been useful these last few weeks.

However we upgraded to Woo-commerce v2.6 the other day and since then the plugin has failed to work completely.

I don’t know if its the introduction of the Shipping Zones, or whatever, but no matter what we do we can not get the plugin to work.

Our requirements we simple have a set level for free shipping, if however a product from a specific category was on the order increase the order level required to trigger free shipping.

Can you please take a closer look at your plugin and respond, I’ve tried everything I can think of but with no success.

    Thanks

    Hi Paul,

I’ve released a update yesterday that should fix the incompatibility with WC 2.6 (I missed this do to earlier for WC 2.6 ?? )

If the conditions you’ve setup before were working they should now too when you’ve updated the plugin (nothing has changed with that ??

    Let me know!

    Thanks,
    Jeroen

    Hi Jeroen,

I have doubled and triple checked although I have changed nothing regarding your plugin, I obviously had to implement shipping zones as prompted by Woo-commerce. I’m running version 2.6.1 which they released yesterday.

I have to select ‘Free Shipping’ as part of the shipping method in the shipping zone, I then select Minimum order value and set it to £150 for example. (There is no option to choose the advanced free shipping in the shipping zone).

When a customer comes to the cart it now shows both free shipping and flat rate, as such customers are choosing to opt for free shipping even though it should not be an option for them.

You can view it here… https://www.perkinsandmorley.com

Free shipping is set to £150 unless you have a ‘Mug’ such as this..

added to your order, in which case the free shipping should only be available once the order reaches £200.

    I hope this helps,

    Thanks Paul

    Hi Paul,

It doesn’t sound like you’re using the Advanced Free Shipping plugin though..?
From your description I only get that you’re using free shipping rates in the zones?

Note that the Advanced Shipping rate does not show up in the shipping zones, it stays as its own subsection in the shipping tab.

    Let me know!

    Thanks,
    Jeroen

    Hi again,

I had assumed that as you have to select which shipping methods you wish to use for the zone, that we needed to select the default ‘Free Shipping’ option.

Are you saying we should only have the flat rate as a shipping method in the zone and that the advanced free shipping will automatically trigger anyway?

    Thanks Paul

    Hi Paul,

The Advanced Free Shipping rate is not directly related to the zone rates. The ‘Free shipping’ in the zones will thus show up on its own there.

    Cheers,
    Jeroen

I have to thank you Jeoren your plugin is outstanding! this thread solved my issue as well. Keep up with the good work!
