Since WordPress 5.2 “Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue”

  • Since the update to WordPress 5.2, I receive annoying daily e-mails about the issue, which might be caused by disabling wp-login.php site using the WP Cerber Security plugin.

    However, the e-mail from WordPress notifies that there is a problem with Gutenberg plugin, although for me the entire site is working, together with the Gutenberg plugin.

    The same topic, but with an error message about “Divi theme” has been opened here.

    Here is the text of the e-mail:
    Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

    In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Gutenberg.

  • I had a similar issue and contacted my hosting provider. My issue was because an affiliate plugin wasn’t compatible with the latest version of WordPress. You can try contacting your hosting provider and see what they say.

    I got a reply from my hosting provider that:
    “maybe it’s a matter of not adjusting the code of the page / plugins to php 7.1.“

    @pyxelr mine basically told me to deactivate the plugin that was causing the issue. You would think a hosting service would be a bit more helpful in situations like these. I hope you find a solution.
