Hey Aqua,
Thanks for the support! Loving being with Incsub, fantastic team of very talented developers and great support team.
To answer your questions:
When I made Sentinote I planned for it to be one notebook per blog. This means that if you want to use multiple notebooks, your best bet is a multisite install. That said, here is a solution that might work for you.
- Create a notebook that you will be sharing with all the authors (you will need Evernote Premium to do this). That way they can all create notes in the same notebook.
- Make sure that each author has the same name for Evernote as the First name Last name in WordPress
- Each author can then add notes to the notebook, whoever creates the note will be attributed as the author (you can click on the note settings to change this at anytime though).
The major drawback with this approach is Evernote’s limitation on shared tags. Only the owner of the notebook can create new tags. Every other user who has been given access can only use the existing tags created by the owner. (You could create a note that you don’t publish and assign it all the tags you want your authors to use).
Its not the best implementation for your solution. It never crossed my mind to have a notebook per user (which makes perfect sense).
I can’t promise you any timelines for this feature either.
If you know of any other developers that would like to work on an open source plugin, let them know. Would love to get some more people contributing to implement ideas like this one.
Cheers,
Rheinard
