“Single Category” page title

    Hi guys,

    I love the plugin, but am having one tiny issue that I can’t resolve:

    On the single category pages, instead of showing the category as the page title, it just says “Single Category”. For example, it should say “Directors” (see shared link for example).

    I am sure it has something to do with how the title is being shown in the template I’m using, but I don’t know how to make it show the category name instead. I currently use:

    <h1><?php the_title(); ?></h1>

    I have tried adding in “the_category” instead, but that didn’t work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    The dev team found the root cause of this issue. We will release a fix in the upcoming update. If you need an immediate solution, you can download the beta version with the fix from here. Please make sure to keep a full backup of your site before installing the beta so that you can revert back to the current state of your site in case the beta version creates any issues. Or, try the beta version in your staging site first.

    Hi Shahadat,

    Thanks for the update! I’ve installed the beta version of the plugin but it hasn’t fixed the issue yet – the title is still showing as “Single Category” (you can see at the original link I supplied).

    I’m having the same issue.
    I installed the latest beta, which solved this problem but created others. Also, the same problem happens in the “Single Tag” page.

    Is there a easy fix I can do in the code until this is permanently solved?
