I have no idea what happened, but a couple of days ago I noticed that all single digit words (I,a)and numbers (1-9)are being replaced by a period (.)in my posts. It’s occurring in both new and old posts. Everything is fine when I check the text in the editor. Any help would be really appreciated.

  • Disable all of your plugins and switch to the default theme. Maybe check your database for errors too.

    Do you have an url?

Thanks for the reply. the URL is https://www.sportsbehemoth.com. I’m not sure what the default theme is-where would I find it?

The default theme is twentyten if you are on a relatively recent WP version.

The problem only occurs on single post listings, not on the post listing. That will help narrow it down. Go the wp-admin->Appearance->Themes to change it.

I switched to twentyten and still had the issue, then deactivated all plugins and voila, everything is good. I switched back to my theme and still good. I guess I have to go through the plugins and see which one is causing the problem?

Thanks so much for your help, apljdi.

    Exactly right. Good luck.
