Hi,

I’m looking at possibly upgrading to the PRO level of this plugin, but I can’t figure out if it will do what I need it to. I have two separate MailChimp lists. I want to create ONE form that allows the user to select from the two lists which one(s) they want to subscribe to.

Is this possible? And if so, can you explain it a little bit?

    Thanks!

    Hi TheRVgeeks,

Yes, that is a feature within the Pro version! If you go into the Add a new field in the lite version, you’ll see List choice at the very bottom of the dropdown. If you’d click this in the Pro version, it would generate a

list of checkboxes. Adding this to your form would then let people select which list they want to be subscribed to.

Hope that’s enough info! If not, please do let me know!

Excellent! Thanks, iMazed! I’ll check that out. Sounds like it’s EXACTLY what I need.

In the Pro version, can one list be double opt-in and the other not (both lists in single form)?

    thanks

Hi @plymouth, unfortunately that can not be achieved without some custom code.

You can enable double opt-in on a per-form basis but not on a per-list basis within the same form. Can I ask what you’re trying to achieve? I might be able to offer an alternative suggestion. ??

    Thanks for your assistance Danny.

The client wants the opt-in list to offer the person an option to sign on to a drip campaign. The other list would be monitored by Salesforce – a way to capture all leads from the form regardless of whether the person opts-in or not.

I am in between the client and other consultants…personally I think the form should post directly to Salesforce but perhaps you have another angle worth pursuing.

    Thx
