• Does your Single Metadata functionality use a custom database table or store an array of values under one meta field?

If it’s the second option, can you say which is generally better optimized for speed: metadata stored in a custom table or using your Single Metadata option?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback!

The Single Meta feature use the same post/user/term meta table as in the native WordPress/ACF logic.

You can see an example of how the data is stored on the documentation, or using the Developer Mode (which will show you any post/user/term meta).

The Single Meta feature use the same meta table for compatibility reasons, to make sure it works with any third party plugin or custom code.

    Hope it helps!

    Have a nice day!

    Regards.
