• Hi,

I’m starting a new marketplace selling food. Everything looks good, but I can’t solve this problem: I setted shipment class for each vendor (I collect the order, then I forward them to the vendors), weight based categories of shipment and with the multiple package plug-in I can separate the orders. But there’s a problem: the shipment costs are not separated by single package weight, but the weight of the total order is summed and the shipments costs are referring to it. For example:
    – 1 kg of product 1 from Vendor B + 2 kg of product 2 of Vendor B:
I should on order splitter in two packages: one with a package of 1 kg with a shipment cost of 5, and another one of 2 kg with a shipment cost of 10. Instead of this, I have the order splitted with both packages with the higher shipment cost (10 and 10).

How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you!

  • Not sure if you resolved this issue. It sounds like rather than setting up Multiple Packages Shipping to be grouped by Shipping Class you want to choose to group by Product (Individually). If you already have it set up that way then you probably need to set up more advanced shipping options which you can do via the plugin Woocommerce Advanced Shipping. I’m not sure I’m understanding correctly what you are looking for but these solutions would be my guess. Best wishes!

We are a distributor and we have multiple vendors we deal with. Some of the products we have ship in multiple packages do their size. Under the “Product Data” –> Shipping, how do I account for the multiple packages, when there in only one section for dimensions?
