Single Page Dynamic Sidebars Not Working

  • I apologize if this question has already been answered, but OptionTree being moved to Customize is beyond confusing to me.

    After updating to the latest version none of my custom sidebars are working. In the page’s settings it’s set to the custom sidebar, but the default primary widgets are being displayed. I also can’t figure out how to change my homepage’s primary sidebar to a custom “widget zone” like I had before.

    In Customize it’s listing all of my custom widget areas as ‘inactive’, and I can’t figure out how to make them ‘active.’ For example my Home-Left sidebar is set to primary Sidebar and Context Home, but it isn’t displaying and is marked as inactive. Am I missing a “Make Sidebar Active” toggle button somewhere?

    I was able to figure out this issue; I missed that file when updating my child theme.

    I do have another question. How would I go about updating the language pack? I updated my .mo and .po files in my child theme to reflect the new paths, but those still aren’t being displayed on my site.
