Hi Dear, I’m using the single photo code (%%wppa%% %%photo=48%% %%size=140%% %%align=center%%) for two pictures in a 1 row 2 column table to display the pictures side by side. In the result width of photos is same but height differs no matter what size you use. Is there any way to get the fixed height and width for both photos. Same problem with the slideshow function.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Lucky

the photos will never be stretched or compressed in one direcion more than the other. The aspect ratio will always be kept like the original photo. Make sure the photos you upload have the same width/height ratio if you want this.

Thanks for your kind reply. I see what you mean but in my case unfortunately it’s not possible to resize all the pictures(portrait & landscape) before uploading. To get a clear view about the problem and my requirement kindly have a look of the attached link.

If we can have a command( maybe:%%wppa%% %%thumb=48%% %%size=140%% %%align=center%% ;where 48 is pic id) or widget to display a single photo as thumbnail that can sort out the issue coz we can use padding in thumbnails. (as shown in the link provided)

I really love this plugin and your quick support. This plugin covers all my requirements apart from the above which is the main one. Kindly help me to sort this out. I’ve been pulling my hair out since 2 days to fix this.

If you check Table I-C9: Use thumbnails if fit, and you make sure the thumbnail image files are big enough ( pixelsize ) the thumbnail image files will automaticly be used.

To achieve this, make the thumbnail popup image size ( ususlly the biggest use of that file ) in Table I-C8 big enough.

Wow, it really did the job. It affects the slideshow display as well but that does not really matter a lot. Thanks a million for your support and such a nice flexible plugin.

Before I mark this topic resolved would you like to please confirm that if we get an upgrade for this plugin in the future then do we need to save the current settings (if yes how?) or the upgrade will take the current settings automatically.

    Thanks again.

I can confirm that you do not need to backup settings.

An update will always go smoothly.

Updates and even de-activation – re-activation will never loose any data, photos, albums or settings.
