We have been using this shortcode
    [ngg_images gallery_ids=”1″ source=”recent” display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_singlepic”]
to display the latest fullsize image from a gallery on our home page.
It has suddenly stopped working and is showing the 3rd latest image.
The sidebar widget shows the correct latest image.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I think I figured it out.

    [ngg_images gallery_ids=1 display_type=photocrati-nextgen_basic_singlepic images_per_page=1 order_by=imagedate]

Curious as to why you do not make your shortcodes backwards compatible.

    Hi @loosefast,

I am almost sure that we have initially ensured a backwards compatibility with the older shortcode constructions and there may be something that breaked over the recent versions because its would be impossible to infinitely maintain and test all the backwards compatibility for all the new plugin’s versions but we are glad that you have been able to find a solution yourself.
