single post always visible on top or “What’s new” section

  • I want to create a “Latest News” that always appears at the top of the index without editing the php file. Ideally, it will have a different background or something to set it apart from the other posts. Does anyone know of any hacks to do this?

  • You can search for sticky, adhesive – there are several plugins doing that. However, it will not change the bg of the post that you “stick” to the top of your blog, AFAIK.
