Single post template

PS, To be clear, I want to override the current template and make my own and I’ve been doing this for years, with Oxygen, but can’t figure out the way in Generate Press

Okay, so could you point me in the direction of additional relevant resources please, so I can at least familiarise myself with this task, before purchasing premium?
I could currently build this site quite easily in Oxygen, but with the uncertain future of their product, I’ve taken the opportunity of trialling GP and GB, since this is a relatively straight forward project.

Thank you for the additional links David, I’ll digest these and will more than likely trial the product. I do have one issue with this, which is the currency conversion, which will hit me, if I do ask to cancel. (Not your fault)

Can I assume (as with oxygen) when using the element builder, I have options to either create a block and insert this into the current single post template, or even, create a new template entirely, which overrides the standard single post template?
I’m assuming also that my custom post types will appear as selectable templates?

The way it work is you create a new Block Element – Content Template
And set its Displays Rules Location to where you want it to apply eg. Posts -> All Posts
Whatever you build in the element using the core Block Editor, will now override the themes templates.
The GP Elements comes with a couple of dynamic blocks for returning the Post Content.

Custom Post Types as long as they are queryable and have published posts will show in the elements display rules locations.

Thanks David, as many others indeed, I’ve avoided Gutenberg at all costs, since trying it during its inception and loathing it. So, I’m finding it is still very unintuitive and this likely cascades down into the GP + GB products, so I’m biting my lip here, as I try to get over the learning hump!

I admit that Gutenberg has its flaws and its not everyones cup of tea. But it has come a long way since its inception. And we built GenerateBlocks to overcome some of the core block limitations.

In GP you can set the Content Container to Full Width to give you the 0 padding canvas of a page builder:

then build out your page using the GenerateBlocks Container blocks to form sections etc.

Gutenberg as a standalone product is incapable for our use as reasonably well experienced designers, but I do agree that with GP and GB, it’s there, or thereabouts a workable solution to our current preferred tool of Oxygen.
Our agency purchased three Cwicly licences, but never built anything serious with it, due to the complexity of the UI and while waiting for it to mature, so if we can get our head around this particular project with your products, I think we shall become converts.
