Single posts vs. category pages

    The related terms from the first post are used to find the related posts in category archive pages (outside the loop).

    Can you explain a little bit more what it is you want to do.
    Do you show related posts inside the loop (for every post) or in a sidebar (outside the loop)?

    Is it you want to show only related posts that have the same terms from the current taxonomy (category)?

    I’m using the widget in my sidebar. On single posts I would like to display all the OTHER posts in the same category as the current post. On category pages I would like to display ALL the posts from the current category.
