Single Product Page payment requests looks ar cart

    Payment request button on “Single Product Page” not working properly.

    When performing a Apple Pay payment at first the payment shows correct but a second later it seems information from the cart is loaded (instead of the single product). If the cart is empty the payment turns to 0, if there is a product (a completely different product) in the cart, it takes the information from the cart.

    At this moment the payment request button is turned off at single product page but on request can be turned on again.

    Can you please confirm if this is specific to Apple Pay, or you can replicate this behavior on both Apple Pay and Google Pay?

    I tested the Google Pay button, but could not replicate what you’ve shared in the video.

    Along with that, could you please also share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hi @sitelabs,

    Thanks for the status report. Looks like you have few caching plugins, in addition to your hosts caching. Are you able to disable all the caching plugin (WP-rocket?) you have installed and test this again?

    Do keep us posted on how this troubleshooting works out for you.

    Hey @simplysaru ,

    I disabled WP Rocket, still exact same issue, at initial glimpse the correct product shows up in the Apple Pay window, then after it’s done “processing” it shows 0 (if cart is empty) or the content of the cart.

    Bump.

    I’m not able to reproduce this on a testing site here: https://wctesting.tk/shop nor am I able to find any reports of this caused by WooCommerce Stripe in the issue tracker here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues

    This leads me to believe that the behavior that you are experiencing is caused by something external to WooCommerce and Stripe.

    If you are able to reproduce this under the following conditions:

    1. An unmodified, default WordPress theme such as Twenty Twenty or Storefront active.
    2. No other plugins except for WooCommerce and Stripe active.

    Please do let us know and we can take a closer look.

    We do understand that placing a site under those conditions may be disruptive. Many people maintain a staging copy of their site for exactly this purpose. That way, testing, and troubleshooting can be done on the staging copy without disrupting the operation of the live site. If your host does not provide an easy way to set up a staging site, you might want to use something like the WP Staging plugin for this purpose.
