Single site, multiple blog pages

  • I am setting up a blog for my wife. The blog has two different groups of people for the target audience. However, many of the posts will be for both groups. Is there any way to set up a separate page for each blog based on a category or some other item?

    I am more than willing to switch to a different version of WP if needs be.

    Let me know if anyone needs more info too.

  • WP doesn’t have “multiple blogs” capacity.
    You may want to consider using categories for different types of posts.

    Eventually, use a static frontpage and show posts only on their category archives.

    Thank you for your response. I will try and get my wife to switch from categories to tags so that this will be possible.

    Will this feature be added? Is there a hack for this option for more advanced users? This is something I have an actual need for that categories simply cannot address.

    there’s really nothing you can’t do with categories. You can even make your theme look entirely different.

    easy? – not quite, but definitely possible for *cough* advanced users.
