Single-Site: New Subscriber Welcome Letter Issue

    Hello, we have been using BNFW plugin for awhile.

    As of two weeks ago, our Welcome Letter e-mail started to fail being sent out. At first, it was approximately 10 % of the Welcome Letters did not get sent. As of yesterday, approximately 10 % of our Welcome Letters did get sent. So the rate of failure is not absolute but progressively getting worse. We had not made any major changes to our site at the time the issues started.

    We are using Classic Editor, Email Log, and WP Offload SES as part of our plugin stack. Any advice in troubleshooting the issue would be appreciated!

    Thanks for your message.

    Have you seen a large increase in the number of users lately? Is there anything in the email log that might suggest an issue?

    In my experience, intermittent sending usually points to a server/email sending issue as opposed to a plugin issue.
