• On my page I am using the new “Single Thumbnail Gallery” Gallery template which I like very much. I am trying to figure out how to put more than one gallery link side by side or possibly a grid type layout.

I’ve tried everything I know in my limited bag of CSS tricks to no avail. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

I think you are wanting a “single thumbnail album” and the single thumb gallery will not work for you,

So you would have 3 thumbs in a grid layout, and each thumb opens a set of different images. So 3 thumbs showing and perhaps 15 images in total, 5 from each thumb. Is that what you are after?

    Thanks for the response.

Actually I’m interested in trying to use the float attribute to line several of the thumbnails on a single line. So far I’ve come close but all or some of them get forced out of the container. I’m obviously missing something either in the CSS or the page structure.

However this solution actually worked out better for the page in question.

I still want to try to figure out how to force the thumbnails onto a grid or single line. I’ll probably be leaving that for another day.

This is exactly what I wanted…

What do you think? Relatively easy and I’ve checked in IE11, FF, Chrome and Opera. Don’t know about Safari and others but suspect they will work.
