single2.php included twice

  • Hi,

    My directory site suddenly got a problem. All directory detail pages include the single2.php twice. So there’s all text, image, and sidebar content doubled.

    Another very similar directory site I own doesn’t happen to have these problems. There are slight differences in the plug-in setup, but disabling many of the plugins didn’t solve the issue.

    Both sites are running LDD Directory Lite 2.7.1 and using the GeneratePress theme.

    The double inclusion originates from a call to get_template_part(‘content’,’single’).

    It’s this a known issue, perhaps targeted in 2.7.2 (latest version)? Our can you point me in a direction how to solve this.

    Hi again, I hope my case is still under investigation?

    In addition to what I’ve reported, LDD Directory Lite is also creating new listings twice. A copy of each new listing is stored during form submission. Post IDs are N and N+1. Users therefore also receive two confirmation e-mails.

    Do you have an idea what could cause entries to be stored twice and also show their body twice?

    Seems like these two actions (perhaps even more) are invoked twice.
