single.php now being invoked

  • I am using single.php in a custom theme and I’m using the php code from the default WP theme. When I click on latest of my (2) posts it opens fine in single.php. When I click on the first of the posts it uses index.php is used instead of single.php.

    Any ideas on how this can be fixed?
