The above page is only one example from many, the problem showed up in more and more cases. The images started to disappear from jetpack CDN, because the images with the jetpack prefix i0.wp.com started to disappeare status code 400

Unfortunately after turning off the site accelerator function all my images, featured images are shown again.
The original image is for example https://hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg

The image from wp.com is this: https://i0.wp.com/hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg

Wp.com creates this from my image: https://i0.wp.com/hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg?fit=940%2C788&ssl=1

It https://i0.wp.com/hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg?fit=940%2C788&ssl=1 gives the error status code (400) Without the appendage ?fit=940%2C788&ssl=1 it is working:

I can get rid off of these appendages if I turn off the “speed up image load times” in Site Accelerator. But then my website metrix become vey bad!

So Image Load Times speeding up is a good thing, but only without the appendages similar to ?fit=940%2C788&ssl=1

Actually the problem is caused by the &ssl=1 appendage. The image without this appendage is working: https://i0.wp.com/hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg?fit=940%2C788

Is there a solution to get rid off these harming appendages, i.e. &ssl=1?

Even the link https://i0.wp.com/hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg?fit=940%2C788&ssl is working, but as soon as there is an = there, the image link is broken.

It seems that the issue you’re facing is related to the URL parameters in the image URL, which are added by Jetpack to optimize the image’s size and serve it from our servers over a secure connection. This is crucial for how Site Accelerator works.

Having said that, broken images from Site Accelerator can be caused by several factors.

In certain cases, plugin or theme conflicts might cause issues that lead to broken images. To rule that out, please make sure to follow the proper troubleshooting steps for fixing plugin/theme conflicts.

Furthermore, you could try to upload a differently-named image with a smaller dimension or file size to see if this addresses the issue.

Alternatively, you can activate the Image Guide feature from our standalone Jetpack Boost plugin and see if that helps with serving your optimized images without issues.

OK, I can try the wp plugin troubleshooter. However, if the problem is emerging with the ending ssl=, and without it there is no problem, why not can we can get rid off this ending altogether?

This file for example is not on my WP, it is in the i0.wp.com server. https://i0.wp.com/hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg?fit=940%2C788&ssl=1 gives (400) error: “We cannot complete this request, remote server returned an unexpected status code (400)”, and that’s why it is not showing up, on the browser, or in my website, while the same file without the ssl= ending is OK. https://i0.wp.com/hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg?fit=940%2C788& or even https://i0.wp.com/hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg?fit=940%2C788&

So the image not showing up is independent of my wordpress, the server link itself with the ending makes the image disappear and giving a 400 error.

I tested the three URLs that you shared and was able to confirm that:
- https://i0.wp.com/hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg?fit=940%2C788&ssl=1 returns status 400
- https://i0.wp.com/hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg?fit=940%2C788 works fine
- the original image https://hangdala.hu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Hangdala-cel-1.jpg works fine.
I was not able to reproduce a similar behavior. At this point, I would recommend reinstalling and reconnecting the Jetpack plugin. Does it help?

In parallel, I’ve reached out to our developers for their insight. We’ll post an update once we’ve heard back from them.

Thank you, I will try it, in the meantime I use as a replacement bunny.net, but I liked very much site accelerator, only the increasing numbers of random errors were disturbing.

Hi @xandermusic , it looks like some hosts in Europe are being blocked, so the images can’t be properly served. Could you make sure that the Jetpack IPs range is allowed listed on your end??
