site being redirected

  • My website is being redirected when opened by searching google. when trying to install anti virus plugins gets redirected as well.

  • Check header.php template file and look right before </head> to see some off the wall <script> that shouldn’t be there. Delete that then remove write protections on header.php until you remove the malware.

    Thats typically how they are done and it will at least get rid of it until you can remove it permanently and correctly.
