It loaded up just fine for me, that’s odd. GZip should have no impact on browser compatibility. What version of IE and Chrome are you on? All browsers – even old versions – support this and if they don’t support it a “graceful fail” is performed where the worst that happens is that your site isn’t gzipped – but no errors for your users.

Let me know the versions and I’ll take another look.

Ok, thanks. It’s IE 7 and not sure about Chrome version. In the information bar in IE it says “An add on for this website failed to run.” I’ve checked all of the other plugins and the browser security settings and can’t figure out anything else it might be.

Ok, that makes a lot more sense.

IE7 is about 8 years old. That is like… being 134 in Internet Years. You should definitely upgrade your IE. Not just for this plugin to work, but for your own security.

I don’t personally use IE, but I know using an outdated browser can cause many inherent problems (such as this).

I hope this works and I hope your internet browsing is a safe one! Good luck!

Ok, thank you. Just to clarify, it’s not me using IE7. It’s a client. I will let her know to update. Thank you!
