• Hello, I have successfuly developed a WordPress site (with Elementor Pro) on a subdomain (demo.domainname.com). I tried to migrate it with All-In-One Migration plugin and with Duplicator Pro to it final destination (www.domainname.com) on the same host. However both times it failed miserably. All files are migrated OK however all posts, pages and media are missing. When I say “missing” I mean that all libraries on the backend are empty, frontend is only throwing 404 errors…
I have tried to update the permalinks, switch to plain, back to postname but with no success.

  • The plugins are not backing up your DB,
try using updraftplus Free version and make sure the option to “Include my Database in Backup is checked” when you click on backup.

Actually, I think they are backing up the database too. As a matter of fact, I could see the empty database populated with the data after the migration EXCEPT the posts table. I added that and copied the data from the development database posts table but still nothing showed up.

Everything else except the posts was working OK.

Still, try updraftplus and see if it works.
