Site breaks when updated to version 2

Wicht version of php you are using?

On wordlesstech 5.4.45

I have the same issue on the trial site with 5.5.38

Sunny 2 requires PHP 7 or later and WordPress 4.7 or later

Starting form Sunny 2.0.1, Sunny checks for php version and deactivate itself if needed.

Warning: I don’t support the old versions. You have to check they are still working.

But as the author indicated, it’s not a good idea and your PHP version is… frighteningly old.

Can your host give you the option to switch? PHP 7 is supported and you should notice a nice speed boost too.

Confirmed: Sunny v1 won’t work anymore.
Either update your server or uninstall Sunny
