I installed this plugin and subsequently deactivated and deleted it again. Now my site ‘broke’ – I now see this error everywhere:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/egi2016/public_html/wp-content/themes/experience-au/functions.php on line 17

I can’t even access the editor (again I’ll get this error) to fix whatever happened there!

    I’d really appreciate your advice!

    Thanks in advance

Thanks for posting the error message. From the path in the message, we can tell that it is not actually a problem with this plugin, or any other plugin, but is an error occurring in the functions.php file in your theme.

It looks like someone most have edited this recently and introduced a bug in the code. To fix this, you can log in with FTP/SSH or similar and rename the experience-au folder (in the wp-content/themes directory) to something different. This will enable the default theme on your site instead and give you the chance to fix the error.
