    Good day,

I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction. All the content from my site has disappeared.

It still looks like it is there when I log into the file manager on the cpanel, but the site only displays the generic “just another WordPress site” on the front end. It was working fine yesterday.

    I don’t what’s broken. Please help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hallo @chipegoh,

    First, take a deep breath.
Based on the information you provided, it appears that your site has been hacked.
This is most likely because of a demo content plugin.

If you do not have a backup, contact your host. Most keep automatic backups.

Thanks @carike. I am panicking a little, but the sir does get backed up every night. I’m a bit of a novice so please forgive the questions: 1) What’s the easiest way to get the site back up? Is there a thread you can direct me to? Bearing in mind that I’m a newbie? 2) Is there a quick way to find the offending plugin?

1.) The easiest way is to ask your host to do it for you.
2.) Do you have Theme Grill’s Demo Content Plugin installed?

Dear Chipegoh, I notice that it seems your site is working/up now. Could you share how you achieved this (did your restore the backup?)

Thanks all. Crisis averted. @carike host did it for me.

Remember to delete the Demo Content Importer plugin.
Also check that there are no additional admin users.
Glad you are back on track ??
