• I recently experienced a catastrophic site crash immediately after Plugin’s automatic update. My website has been stuck in maintenance mode for the past four hours, disrupting my business operations and causing significant stress. I had to urgently contact my developer to resolve the issue, highlighting the critical dependence small businesses like mine have on website functionality.

It’s incredibly frustrating to encounter such issues, especially considering the vital role websites play in modern business. Updates should undergo rigorous testing to avoid such disastrous consequences, as they not only lead to monetary losses but also disturb mental peace.

I urge developers to prioritize stability and thorough testing in future updates to prevent similar incidents from happening to other users. Until then, I cannot recommend this plugin due to the high risk it poses to website stability and business continuity.

Thank you for your understanding and patience. If you have any further questions or encounter any issues, please let us know.

    Hello @iankusht,

Your new update 1.6.31 is still giving me the fatal error of my website. This still does not work for my website. I am still looking for some solution. If somebody found any solution for this please share.

    Thanks

I have found a solution that I shared yesterday. You can download the previous .28 version of the plugin that works very well. You can watch my tutorial on how to fix it on youtube I have shared https://youtu.be/WI8Am8mArh0?si=3xZpm-EtrHFpkyLd

@ranjanbarman Thanks, but I did roll back to previous version and still it says fatal error

Make sure you roll back to this plugin that was the stable version
    https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/header-footer-elementor.1.6.28.zip

Bro I did roll back to the old version and once it is installed and I am trying to activate the plug in this takes my website down and Fatal Error comes up.

Development should see the issue and they should get this issue resolved ASAP.

    Hi @mohsinali1989,

It seems you are the only one who doesn’t get the fix even with v1.6.31, which currently is the latest version. If even after rolling back to v1.6.28 your site still has fatal error, your case is obviously different. There’s even a chance that this plugin is not the one that causes the issue.

Anyway, since the forum rule doesn’t allow us using review for support, please start a new thread and put the details of the problem you are facing. Or if you like, you can even get in touch with us using the form available on this page.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

What worked for me was rolling back to version v1.6.28. Any plans to correct the latest version?

    Hi @rmcanberraweb,

What issue you were referring to? The issue that broke the site had been fixed on v1.6.30 and v1.6.31.

Well, it would be better if you can start your own thread. You can do so from this link.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

I agree with @mohsinali1989. v1.6.31 didn’t fix the problem. In fact v1.5.31 broke my website. And like @mohsinali1989, I had to roll back to v1.6.28 to restore it.

    Hi @rmcanberraweb & @mohsinali1989,

If you are still facing fatal error issue on your site, even after updating to v1.6.31 that means there is something else causes the issue. Again, please start your own thread, instead of using this one as this is for a review, not support. Also, this is not your thread. We need to follow the Forum rules.

In the meantime, please update this plugin to the latest version, which currently is v1.6.34, that we released a few days back.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
