Fatal error and I cannot login to my WP admin – how do I fix?

    I downloaded this plugin for the WP site, beta.bridgit.io (https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wp-downgrade/)
    I tried to reinstall WordPress 4.9.9 after upgrading to the latest version of WP, I think 5+.
    After I downloaded, the site crashed, need help!

    I only see the error message below. I cannot log in with beta.bridgit.io/wp-admin.
    How can I login to the WP admin dashboard to deactivate this plugin?

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function register_block_type() in /home/devblissit/beta.bridgit.io/wp-content/plugins/yikes-inc-easy-mailchimp-extender/blocks/blocks.php on line 26

    Hello ph429

    Login to your site via FTP and rename that plugin’s folder.
    OR
    Check with your hosting provider.

    Hi @ph429.,

    You need to disable this plugin “yikes-inc-easy-mailchimp-extender”

    If you don’t have access to your Dashboard’s Appearance page, access your server via FTP/ SFTP , or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/yikes-inc-easy-mailchimp-extender and rename this folder

    It can be fixed
