• Hi guys,

My website cinemagics.com is crashing on mobile devices. I get [cycle] DOM not ready, queuing slideshow and another error on the first line of jquery.min.js.

I have limited coding experience. Can anyone help/ had a similar problem.

The site does work sometimes on mobile but it is very rare to have it working on an ipad, iphone.

    thanks

    rony

Is this issue specific to your theme?

yes, but the theme was developed by a developer. But he is not available anymore. Is there anyone with similar experience or know what is the problem.

    any help would be great.

    Which theme was used?

This is was a theme designed by that developer for the website only.

Can you describe what happens on mobile?

    The website hangs after it loads the contents on the page. I shall explain (same for safari and chrome);
    1) open safari/ google chrome; enter cinemagics.com
    2) the page loads
    3) Most times; the page hangs after loading- no change
4)* Sometimes, the page loads and the sliders for the videos move- when i select a video , the site hangs
5)* Sometimes, I can select a menu, but it hangs as soon a menu.
6)* Once in a while, a new page can be selected and it works but it will crash
    7) In all cases, the browser closes (crashes) and next time on opening chrome (or safari), it shows as browser did not shut down properly, do you want to restore.

I am not sure, why this is happening. However, on my desktop; i get no problems. Only issue is with ipad and iphone..
When i select jconsule (developer tools); I can see the errors. The 404 error is because the video linked is not youtube video so that is ok but I do not know why the site is crashing.

Thanks a ton for taking time to check.

I have tried using an emulation tool to replicate the crashing problem but couldn’t. I hope someone who has the actual device ready can help you.
