Had a major issue this weekend migrating over a few Easy Digital Download products/licenses. In short, during the migration something happened and my entire database got corrupted.

I’d like to be able to revert to a previous version of my site, where things were working, but I am not able to find any DB backup files, .sql files etc. Where are they hiding?

I saw in the plugin description that this plugin backs up the DB as well, which was a major reason for installing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to get this site back up and running soon.

    Thanks,
    Evan

Seems that I have been able to find the backup file inside of the uploads directory, but the entire file is blank?

    Hey Evan,

Sorry to hear about your site db getting corrupted. Could you please report this from inside the WP Time Capsule plugin so that we can have a clear picture of the backup status. Also I’d appreciate it if you could write us at [email protected] so that we can get this sorted out at the earliest ??

Just in case you wanted to know the path real quick, check it here: YourCloudStorage/wptimecapsule/YourSiteName/wp-content/uploads/tCapsule/backups

    Hey @tauseef,

False alarm. Not sure what had happened but the first two times I opened the file it was empty, so I re-downloaded it and all was fine.

Not sure why that was, maybe the download got interrupted or something. Either way, I’m glad the backups were safe.

    Thanks for your prompt reply!
