    I installed a plugin – slideshow and now my admin does not work and when I click on a link I get a prompt to download a file. link to site
    Any ideas???

    PS – when you click the link you’ll get the prompt that I am talking about

  • Hello Ke,

    What you are best off doing is uninstalling/deleting the plugin through your FTP: which is usually located in the following:
    wordpress\wp-content\plugins then that should get your admin up and running.

    What you do from hear is then try installing the plugin either manually or through the admin page.

    I did that but still cannot access my site. I can get into the admin and the plugin is gone. I still get the download prompt when I try to access the site in Firefox – it shows in IE – go figure

    Uninstall your the wordpress installation but keep your database active and then re install wordpress using the same database

    ok- how do I do that. Why would the site show up fine in Internet Explorer and not Firefox?
