Site crashed with last update (modified)

With the last update my site crashed and I had to roll back to previous version of Simple Calendar. It’s a pity because I really like the simplicity of this plugin.
Update 2017-07-31; Tried again to update to latest version and to my supprise everything worked well. So I presume there was something when I did the first update and therefor I have to modify my review and give this plug in a higher rate.
