I’m hosting my website https://www.metaladdicts.com at Bluehost where I have Basic Managed WordPress plan with 2GB RAM and 2 CPU cores. Sometimes when I have like 100 views in a minute or two site can’t load for few minutes. Couple of days ago I had around 10,000 views in a day and site crashed 4 times, even tho they’re saying that this plan can handle up to 100 millions views/mo. When I contacted their support they told me that jquery can’t process this amount views and that I should move to dedicated server.

  • As I have a habit of suggesting, go to https://www.webhostingtalk.com and do some reading/asking if necessary and take your pick at some reliable VPS provider. Don’t bother with Bluehost.

Hey @reeder_mustaine it just pulled up the account notes and it looks like your site has something causing excessive SQL queries. It also looks like something on your website is causing the page cache layer to always have a miss, which is likely contributing to the high queries. This means your server is having to generate the page on every view causing higher than normal resource usage. If you can send me an email at mike.hansen [a] endurance.com I would be happy to look and see what we can do about both reducing your queries and getting that page cache to HIT so your available resources will go further.
