Site crashes during installing

  • I’ve been trying to install this plugin for a while now, but every time it crashes the site. I’ve downloaded from WP directory and uploaded to my site, as well as downloaded from the search results on my WP admin dashboard, but it simply crashed everything and gives me a blank page. Then I have do delete the plugin folder via FTP.
    What’s the matter?

  • I have the same problem. I am simply pressing the UPDATE NOW button from within the WordPress Dashboard – Plugins panel and it just times out every time.

    I also have an issue with the calendar not adjusting (responsive design) when at a min width (i.e. iPhone portrait). Will add this as a new post in the forum.

    Hi biellebrunner, that’s certainly not the norm but we’d need more information to help troubleshoot this.

    • Have you tried activating with no other plugins and only a default, unmodified theme running?
    • If you try installing directly from the WordPress admin environment (rather than downloading a .zip to your computer, unzipping and installing it by FTP) does that work?
    • What sort of hosting environment are you working with? Can you detail the setup / link to a product page?
    • Do you have access to the server error logs and does that show any entries of interest here (corresponding to the date and time that these crashes occur)?
