    How does one resurrect a site that dies, when for one reason or other a plugin update fails. I tried to update OSE Firewall on a site, this morning and the site never recovered. I’m seeing the following when I try to access the site.

    Warning: require_once(/#################/wp-content/plugins/ose-firewall/framework/oseframework/wordpress.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /#####################/wp-content/plugins/ose-firewall/protected/library/oseFirewallBase.php on line 36

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/################/wp-content/plugins/ose-firewall/framework/oseframework/wordpress.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5_3/lib/php’) in /####################/wp-content/plugins/ose-firewall/protected/library/oseFirewallBase.php on line 36

    If there are any suggestions, I’d appreciate it. Otherwise, I am going to have to rip everything out and start from scratch.

    Delete the plugin OSE Firewall. You may use FTP/cPanel for deleting the plugin if you cannot login to your dashboard.

    Thanks. Will try that.

    Thank you, again. That did the trick.

    I think I’ll leave things alone, now. Not feeling terribly confident, at the moment.
