Site Displays Page That’s Not Supposed To Be There
-
I’m just a fan of WordPress who likes to play with it; and learn. I’m experiencing a situation that I don’t know, nor have I found how to handle.
I created a child of the Twenty Seventeen theme that I run with no apparent problem here: “https://wp-multisites.com/”. I then created an exact replica of that child theme which I run here: “https://wp-multisites.com/inspirituspr/”. The only change from one to the other is that each respective “style.css” has a different “Theme Name” and “Theme URI”;

WP-Multisites and https://wp-multisites.com/
the first and
- InSpiritus and https://inspirituspr.com/
the second.
What baffles me is that, the second child displays at its home page a template that should not exist because it was deleted long before both child themes were created. I just can’t figure out how to correct this. Please, any guidance is appreciated. Thanks!!!
