Site does not display on internet

  • This is my first attempt at creating a wordpress web page.

    I download WP app through my Westhost my hosting company, I configured the home page as a static page but when I go to view on the internet under the url (https://marinview9494.com)it does not display in fact I get an error page indicating that I do not have permission. It will, however, display as marinview94941.com/wp. To prove that it is not a hosting/server problem I created a test index page in html which does display.

    I have set my permalink as “Custom Structure” /%postname%/

    Any suggestions>

  • Try dragging all of the files and folders from the WP folder into the same folder that the WP folder is at:

    ?/WP/all of your wordpress files and folders

    to

    ?/all of your wordpress files and folders
