Trying to migrate a site from inmotion and get this error:

“Site domain to be changed to wolcf.org/
While generating the transfer token, you have chosen to use a different domain than the one currently used with your WordPress. To accommodate this change we will automatically update your database while transferring it to the SiteGround servers and replace the domain information on the needed places.”

The website domain is wolcf.org so no change is necessary. Please help.

You can safely ignore that and proceed, it should work fine. We will address this message in an upcoming update ??

    Hi Hristo,

I had this notice too and ignored it according to the advice here. However, the migration changed my domain to lose the ‘www’ in the domain. This seemed caused all sorts of issues, including redirection issues etc.

Might be worth checking and ensuring that the ‘www’ is respected during migration in future as I can imagine worse scenarios resulting than mine if the customer isn’t aware of this as a potential issue.

hi Hristo, sorry but I,m a litle bit confused, contact to GoDaddy and change domain name on my website, so already given to GoDaddy IP address to the conect new domain name and for that reason, they changed the nameserver to them but my website hosting is on prostartdigital.
so just inform them changed domain name but received mail cannot do that, is not work that, if I looking to change domain name first have to get new hosting to a new domain, then have to migrate all files to new hosting ,but from Godaddy told me that not make sense so to contact WordPress ? so from 30 hours, my website is not working?
the old domain name is (dogclothingmarket.com) to the new one is (dogclothingshops.com)also can not login to my wp-admin
