• Hi,

recently I updated my site from WordPress v4.0 to v4.1. Since then, my site (frontend) won’t respond (timeout on request) unless I disable the plugin “iThemes Security”. The admin-backend is accessable at all times.

The version of jQuery had been a suspect, since that seems to also have broken NextGen Gallery. But as discussed in a previous post, this seems to be ok: iThemes reports v1.11.1.

What else could it be? With ITSec enabled, Firefox reports this error:

    The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

The problem isn’t with the htaccess file either, I’ve exchanged that for the without-iTSec-version, and the site is still not accessible. With iTSec disabled, no problem.

    Any ideas?

    Regards
