I’m a new admin to the site, and this plugin wouldn’t let me into the admin panel (maybe because of my foreign ip). So i logged in via anonimizer and deactivated the BPS plugin for the time being.

Then i just uploaded the new template i made for the site (without activation though) and removed a couple of widgets from the sidebar. That’s it. Checked out the site, it worked great.
And some time after i found out the site is completely down. I’m sure the issue has to do to my BulletProof Security deactivation and with .htaccess for that matter, but i have no idea how to fix this. Could you please help?

The probem does not sound like it is being caused by BPS. Use FTP or your web host control panel file manager and delete the root and wp-admin htaccess files.

Thank you very much, the problem is resolved now.
The reason is that there was but one single template in the admin panel (which is wrong), and something got off with it after i messed with the plugin. Now it’s all working.

    Thank you very much.

htaccess File Troubleshooting Steps: Unable to Login to Your Website:

    1. Use FTP or your Web Host Control Panel File Manager and delete the .htaccess file in your website root folder and the .htaccess file in your wp-admin folder. If you do not see the root and wp-admin htaccess files then select “Show Hidden Files” in your FTP application or in your web host control panel file manager.

@manny818 – BPS and Yahoo hosting are not compatible with each other so you will not be able to use BPS on Yahoo hosting.
