site down after upgrade

    Hi,

    I upgraded several sites. Those on HostGator upgraded without problem. Those on Dreamhost went down with the following error msg.

    atal error: Call to undefined function _fill_user() in /home/eyebeat/www.medievalscript.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 199

  • Sounds like the upgrades did not complete successfully.
    Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming the current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    – re-running the upgrade manually using wp-admin/upgrade.php.

    Problem is solved. It was a corrupt pluggable.php file.
