    When clicking on “editor” button the site-editor.php page shows a blank white page. When I inspect the page I see html code but nothing displays. I’ve enabled Troubleshooting Mode.

    Here is the start of the body html:
    <body class=”wp-admin wp-core-ui js is-fullscreen-mode site-editor-php auto-fold admin-bar branch-5-9 version-5-9 admin-color-fresh locale-en-us block-editor-page wp-embed-responsive customize-support sticky-menu svg”>

    I don’t see anything obvious that could be causing a blank white page so any help is appreciated.

  • Have had the same situation since January 29th. Even made a post about it 2 days ago. This morning over coffee, I found the answer while reviewing my server logs hidden in plain sight. In hindsight it was also in my browser window. It is a common block method by the developer to prevent you from going further into the editor or any other piece of code. This is a Beta were nothing is perfect and I assume that they are working on a major refinement of a particular problem type which will take who knows how long.
    I keep trying to access the editor once a day without any change so far. Tests my patience however my keyboard is still in one piece. Hope this helps a bit. Namaste.

    There is a tentative upgrade to v5.9.1 on February 16. May fix the issue.

    I figured out the issue. I had in the WP settings both https://mysite/ and https://www.mysite.com/ and when changed both with www. it fixed the problem and I can see the editor!
