Site editors writing in different languages

    We have several site editors, each writing in a different language.

    Can each editor write in their own language, then users see the content in a language they choose? e.g. one editor writes in German, another editor write in English. The users see all content in a language that the user chooses, e.g. French?

    Hi,

    We do not recommend having mixed content website. The translation results can be worse. Better to create content in one language.

    In our paid version we have option to auto detect the source language.

    How does this help? If a site is usually in English, then a German editor is typing, the Gtranslate plugin detects the post is bing written in German, then what happens next?

    Hi,

    It will be great if you can moderate the user input.

    With auto detect feature we detect the source language before translating it, so if you have German, English, Spanish text on one page, we can translate it into Russian by auto detecting each language.

    You can even go further and migrate your original website to mixed.domain.com and we can translate it into English on domain.com, Spanish on es.domain.com, German on de.domain.com, etc…

    Thanks again for your reply. We can’t moderate user input, the site owners have different languages (it’s a multi-national community).

    I will see what we can do with the auto detect feature, that may solve the problem.
