We understand, “Both Yoast SEO qTranslate plugins are disabled and the problem remains.” If the issue is still happening when Yoast SEO is disabled then the issue is originating from somewhere else. As when Yoast is disabled it is not expected to result in that behavior.
We can only suggest the following actions:
1. Contact your host provider and review the server error logs. There may be a clue about why the site still tosses out a Server 500 error.
2. Perform a full conflict check as there might be some other plugin or theme resulting in that behavior. Your host provider can help with this if you are not sure how to do it.
3. Confirm that all your plugins and themes are updated (Yoast SEO is now at v12.9) and that you are using WordPress 5.3.2. If you are not sure how to update, your host provider can help.
Also, please know that we do not recommend qTranslate X as it does not integrate well with Yoast SEO. We recommend instead MultilingualPress: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/multilingual-press/ or WPML: https://wpml.org/.

If you are still experiencing the issue per the forum guidelines, we ask that you please create separate topics for the issues you are experiencing. That way it’s easier to track issues and provide assistance on your specific concerns on your specific site. Plus, you will get your own alerts for the issue rather than someone else’s. You may make a new topic here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wordpress-seo/#new-post. Thanks!
