the latest update broke our sites

    “Site experiencing technical difficulties”

disabling “Hide SEO Bloat” fixes it

    Hi Mike,

Sorry to hear of your troubles.

    This sounds very strange indeed.

You wouldn’t have more information available, would you?

The PHP Error log would be a great resource of information to be able to track down what the conflict is.

We have not received any reports and the latest update has been out for a few days already.

Which WP version is your site running?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Glad to hear that you discovered the culprit. It indeed is handy to have the yoast plugin installed ??

I remember that in the beginning it had a function that checked whether yoast is active, but removed that later on.

Maybe an idea to bring it back, if only to give some information for border-cases like you just experienced.

Anyways, glad to hear that you have installed Hide SEO Bloat on many sites! Thanks for your support!
